Tehran is willing to restart nuclear discussions with the United States on condition that it is approached with "dignity" and "honor", Tehran's top diplomat has stated.

The Iranian diplomat stated only diplomacy was effective, and disclosed recent overtures had been made by intermediaries to reopen negotiations with the American leadership. He claimed Iran had zero undeclared nuclear sites, and Tehran could not yet authorize the International Atomic Energy Agency to visit struck enrichment centers for protective measures.

Walking a Challenging Path

The foreign minister is walking a challenging path since Iran does not want be perceived to be acting from a stance of vulnerability, and he consistently maintained that Iran had come out more resilient defensively and emotionally from the Israeli-US attack on its atomic facilities in June.
